This policy explains what information DrillTek Directional Drilling collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it plain. We are a directional drilling and excavation contractor in Louisville, Kentucky, not a data company.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
When you submit our quote or contact form, we collect the details you choose to provide, typically your name, phone number, email address, the service you need, and any project description or file you attach. We use this only to respond to your request and discuss your project.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, which pages are viewed, roughly where traffic comes from, and how people move through the site. This helps us improve the site. Analytics runs only after you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, Google Analytics does not store analytics cookies on your device.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. We use two kinds:
- Essential storage — remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask on every page. This is always on because the site needs it to honor your preference.
- Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics only after you accept. They help us measure site usage. You can decline these, and nothing on the site stops working.
You can change your choice at any time using the link, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to quote requests and answer your questions.
- To schedule and carry out work you ask us to do.
- To improve this website and our services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with service providers that help us operate (for example, our form delivery provider and Google Analytics) or when required by law.
Third-Party Services
Our contact form is processed by Formspree, which forwards your submission to us by email. Website analytics are provided by Google Analytics. Each has its own privacy practices, and your use of this site is also subject to Google's policies for the analytics it provides.
Data Retention
We keep quote and contact submissions for as long as needed to serve you and to keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your Choices
- Decline analytics cookies in the banner, or change your choice later via Cookie Settings.
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- Choose not to submit the form, you can always just call us.
